Terms of Service

These are the terms of the deal between you and AgentReady. They set out what we provide, what we expect from you, and where each side's responsibility ends. We've kept them short and readable — please actually read them.

Effective: 1 January 2026 Last updated: 1 January 2026 Applies to: agentready.au and the AgentReady audit platform

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and AgentReady™ ("AgentReady", "we", "us" or "our") covering your access to and use of our website, our AI readiness audit engine, the reports we produce, and any related services (together, the "Service").

By running an audit, requesting a quote, or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you're agreeing on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind it — and "you" then means that organisation. If you don't accept these Terms, don't use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of this agreement.

What the Service does

AgentReady is an automated analysis tool. When you submit a domain, our engine requests publicly accessible pages on that site and evaluates the signals that determine whether AI systems can find, understand and confidently recommend the business behind it — structured data, content depth and clarity, trust and authority markers, crawler directives, and technical accessibility.

The output is an AI Readiness Score, a breakdown of how that score was reached, and a prioritised set of recommendations. Paid tiers may add deeper analysis, competitor comparison, a written report, or implementation work — the specifics of any paid engagement are what we set out to you in writing at the time of purchase.

This is an informational tool

An audit is a diagnostic, not professional advice. It isn't legal, financial, marketing or technical advice tailored to your circumstances, and it doesn't replace judgement from someone who knows your business. Decide what to act on accordingly.

Eligibility

The Service is built for businesses and the people who work on their behalf. To use it, you must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. If you're using AgentReady for an employer or client, you must be authorised to do so.

Your right to audit a site

This is the single most important obligation in these Terms, so we've given it its own section.

You may only submit a domain that you own, operate, or have clear authorisation to analyse.

Auditing a website you have no relationship with may breach that site's terms of use, and the responsibility for that sits with you, not with us. By submitting a domain you warrant that you hold the necessary rights or permission, and you accept responsibility for any claim arising from a submission that turns out otherwise.

Where a paid tier offers competitor benchmarking, we analyse only publicly available pages using the same read-only method we apply to your own site.

Acceptable use

Use the Service lawfully and in good faith. You agree not to:

  • Circumvent, disable or interfere with rate limits, authentication, or any other security or access control.
  • Access the Service through scrapers, bots or automated scripts, or resell audit capacity as if it were your own product, without our written agreement.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the scoring model, weightings or audit logic behind the Service.
  • Submit domains designed to trigger requests against internal infrastructure, or otherwise use our crawler as a proxy to reach systems you couldn't reach yourself.
  • Upload or transmit malware, or use the Service to distribute unlawful, infringing or deceptive content.
  • Place a disproportionate load on our infrastructure, or take any action intended to degrade the Service for others.
  • Misrepresent your identity, or your authority to submit a given domain.

We may investigate suspected breaches and take whatever action we reasonably think is warranted, including removing content, restricting access, and reporting conduct to the relevant authorities.

Free and paid plans

The free audit is genuinely free and needs no account. It's subject to rate limits, and we may change what it includes, or withdraw it, at any time.

Paid reports and engagements are purchased through our checkout or under a written quote. What you receive, when you receive it, and what it costs are governed by the description and quote applicable at the point of purchase. Where anything in a signed quote or statement of work conflicts with these Terms, the quote takes precedence for that engagement.

The Service depends on how third-party AI systems, search engines and websites behave, and all of those change. We may modify, add to, or discontinue features over time. Where a change materially reduces something you've already paid for, we'll work with you in good faith on a fair resolution.

Payment, refunds and GST

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details — they go directly to Stripe, and your use of their checkout is also subject to their terms. Prices are shown in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise and are inclusive of GST where GST applies.

Refunds

Because a report is generated and delivered as soon as you buy it, purchases are generally non-refundable once the report has been produced. That said, we'd rather have a happy customer than a technicality: if the Service failed to deliver, delivered something materially different from what was described, or produced a report that's plainly broken, contact us within 14 days and we'll re-run it, fix it, or refund it.

For engagements delivered in stages, refunds are assessed against work completed at the point of cancellation. Nothing in this section limits any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.

Failed and disputed payments

If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend delivery of the associated report or engagement until it's resolved. If you think you've been charged in error, contact us before opening a chargeback — it's almost always faster.

Accuracy of audit results

Every audit is produced algorithmically from publicly available data at a single point in time, and it is provided as is. We work hard on the quality of our engine, but we don't warrant that:

  • Every relevant issue on your site will be detected, or that every finding will be free of error.
  • Results will stay accurate after your site, your competitors, or the AI systems themselves change.
  • Acting on our recommendations will produce any particular outcome — more citations, more traffic, more leads, more revenue, or a higher score.

AI platforms are opaque, they change without notice, and no one — including us — can guarantee how any of them will treat a given website. Our score reflects our own methodology; it isn't a ranking issued or endorsed by OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Perplexity or any other provider. Treat the report as informed analysis to weigh against your own knowledge of your business.

Intellectual property

WhatWho owns it
The platformAgentReady owns the Service — its code, engine, scoring methodology, design, copy, documentation, and the AgentReady™ name and branding.
Your audit resultsYou do. The report generated for your site is yours to keep, share, publish, quote or hand to your developers without further permission from us.
Your contentYou do. You keep all rights in your website and anything you submit; you grant us only the limited licence needed to run the audit and deliver your report.
Aggregate insightsAgentReady owns de-identified, aggregated statistics derived across many audits. These never identify you or your business.

You may not copy, resell or white-label the Service itself, or use our branding in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership that doesn't exist. If you publish figures from your report, please attribute them to AgentReady.

Third-party sites and services

The Service crawls websites we don't control and relies on third-party providers for hosting, payments, email delivery and data storage. We're not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy or practices of any third-party website, including a site you submit for analysis, and a link or reference in a report isn't an endorsement.

If a third-party provider suffers an outage, the Service may be degraded or unavailable through no fault of ours.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory — including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

Australian Consumer Law

Certain consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded, restricted or modified, and nothing in these Terms attempts to do so. Where a guarantee applies and our liability can be limited, our liability is limited — at our option — to resupplying the service, or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to the section above:

  • Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or data — even if the possibility of that loss was known.
  • Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims connected with the Service is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or AUD $100.
  • We are not liable for decisions you make in reliance on an audit, for changes in how any AI system or search engine treats your website, or for the actions of a third-party provider.

These limits reflect a deliberate allocation of risk between us and are part of the basis on which the Service — including the free tier — is offered at the price it is.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold AgentReady, its directors, employees and contractors harmless from any claim, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms or of any law, or your submission of a domain you weren't authorised to analyse.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access — with notice where it's practical, and immediately where it isn't — if you breach these Terms, if your use threatens the security, stability or lawful operation of the platform, or if we're required to by law.

If we terminate your access without cause while you have paid work outstanding, we'll refund the unused portion. Sections covering intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law survive termination.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service and the law evolve. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. For material changes we'll take reasonable steps to give notice before they take effect — by email or a notice on the site. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms. Changes don't apply retrospectively to a dispute that arose beforehand.

General provisions

  • Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You and AgentReady submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia and the courts able to hear appeals from them.
  • Talk to us first. If a dispute arises, contact us before starting proceedings. Most things are resolved with an email, and we'll engage in good faith to sort it out.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any written quote or statement of work, are the whole agreement between us on this subject.
  • Severability. If a provision is found unenforceable, it's read down or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest continues in force.
  • No waiver. If we don't enforce a right straight away, that isn't a waiver of it.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • Force majeure. Neither party is liable for a failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
